Cape seal is a new type pavement with many advantages such as low cost and simple construction,so there is broad prospects for development in road-repaired and application of low grade highway. This dissertation is based on the cape Pavement research project of Liaoning Provincial Traffic Department, researching its properties of anti-reflective cracking,so as to achieve designing guidance, to improve the structure and properties and to extend the life of the cape seal pavement. This paper can be broadly divided into the following three parts.Firstly, establish finite element model based on the multi-path structure for the linear elastic, study the changes of the stress and the stress intensity factor on top layer of asphalt surface and the bottom within the load in the vehicle inspection symmetric and asymmetric role. We also set up the micro-cape road numerical analysis model, in the study of different asphalt content, porosity and graded roads under internal stress. The results show that surface layer thickness and modulus of change on the Cape Pavement Cracks anti-reflection significantly affected by lower asphalt content and semi-open graded asphalt aggregates are conducive to anti-reflective crack.Secondly, cracks in the establishment of grass-roots finite element model, the dynamic load under the crack tip stress intensity factor analysis were drawn in the road damping ratio and vehicle load cycle change on the impact of stress intensity factor. The results showed that, under dynamic load, and increase the damping ratio of layer thickness and modulus changes are conducive to raising the Cape pavement cracks antireflection properties.Thirdly, introduced the use of brittle coating of reflective observation Cape pavement cracks process. Experimental results showed that the large-size cracks in the asphalt gravel antireflection stronger ability. Numerical simulation results contribute to the deepening of understanding.
