Mixing equipment of rotary dryer of asphalt mixing equipment is the key component, itsperformance directly affects the mixing equipment operating performance and energy savingand environmental protection index. Therefore, on aggregate in the rotary dryer of the laws ofmotion, the drying barrel design has important significanceIn this paper, take an3000rotary dryer for example, According to the particulate materialin a drum and its feeding leaves the actual stress condition and law of motion, calculation ofthe particulate material of the onset and termination of throwing angle, to establish a granularmaterial in the drying cylinder motion mathematical model for granular materials, thecoefficient of friction between the tested, according to the different particle size and moisturecontent study of the friction coefficient and the throwing angle relation, calculation of theparticulate material by the blades up and thrown down a roller turning angle and roller rotatesone circle of granular material is picked up and thrown down the number of the dryingcylinder; leaf is the important component, introduces the drying cylinder sections of materialdifferent leaf shape and distribution, material density and calculate the curtain blade materialvolume; set up materials in the preheating zone, a drying zone and a heating zone three zonewithin the retention time of the model, different types of residence time of materials in thedrying cylinder are respectively calculated, and analyzes on the different factors of materialsin the effect of retention time.In addition, The roller speed, angle, velocity of flue gas, the leaves between the phaseangle effect on the formation of uniform material screen of each factor was analyzed,and theuse of MATLAB programming, simulation of various factors on the material in the drumtrack and influencing the residence time.
