In large projects, electrical engineering is a very important part of the successdetermines the project can be safe and reliable operation. In this paper, Along with Portlogistics facility project was building in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Compare with domesticsimilar project, there are so many difficult point in the electrical engineering design ofoverseas projects. Electrical engineering design inluding of power system design andanalysis, power system relay protection setting, emergency power supply design,lighting design, ground design, ect. Using ETAP software simulation under differentoperating conditions, the specific running various parameters of power system operationand the combined simulation software output relay with the curve parity power systemprotection.Bus bar is one of the most important substation equipment. The function is powercollection and distribution. The fault which existing in bus bar result in voltage drop.And power quality and stability will be affected. Combining with the actual projectcases, study13.8kV single bus system bus differential protection design and realize theprinciple of developing the analysis and research on GE B90differential bus protectionrelay of the actual application analysis.As the results from ETAP software, select the most suitable electrical equipment forthe project. Economic and reliable design scheme had been applied for large capacitylow-voltage motor starting.Execute DIALUX lighting calculation software in the indoor and outdoor lightingdesign. Utilizing3D models, to determine lighting design can then simulate the desiredeffect by software.
