The paper analyzes the principle of common storage batteries,commonly used in charging mode and its impact on the performance of theenergy storage battery. Combined with the small size, long life and easilydetected battery status,a lithium battery has been chosed as this designsubjects.Great influence on the lithium battery life due to the different charging,the three closed-loop charge control strategy of the lithium battery has beenresearched and the main portion of the charger,such as PFC converter and aDC/DC converter,has also been design. Based on the Buck type,the PFCconverter has several advantages,such as high efficiency, low loss. Becauseof using UCC29910chip as the core of the PFC circuit, the circuit can havea higher conversion efficiency,a lower temperature,lower voltage stesswhen the output voltage is reduced to100V or less.External passivescollection size decreases, thereby the volume of the entire power supply hasbeen reduced.At the same time, the design the DC/DC circuit can be verysimple. The DC/DC converter is mainly controlled by embedded processorDK-LM3S9B96, using push-pull forward converter topology. The topologyof the circuit can overcome the shortcomings of the push-pull circuit andforward circuit, suppressing the transformer core magnetic bias.In addition, based on the design of the main circuit, multisim softwarehas been used to verify the feasibility of the circuit. Combined prototypetesting, the actual operation output voltage, current and temperature valuehave been sampled,which shows that the push-pull forward converter cangenerate a very stable DC output voltage. Meanwhile, it can be also showed how the machine work in the LCD screen of the dk-lm3s9b96,satisfyingthe requirement of intelligent charging.
