With the further development of new energy technology, the wide popularityof lithium battery energy storage devices, the study of lithium battery relatedsupplementary equipment is becoming more and more in-depth and mature. Butfor the research of charger control system is still in its infancy compared to othertechnology, it has also become a bottleneck restricting the development oflithium battery. In view of the present charging machine technology and thecharging method is relatively backward situation, this paper analyzes the presentsituation of new energy bus power battery charger technology, and on the basisof the actual demand, developed a charging control strategy based on the batterystatus information, and based on this design, design Charger control system’shardware/software and the CAN communication part.This paper mainly introduces the design of the control system of chargingprocess, is made respectively for the realization of the hardware and softwaredesign. Charger control system hardware is based on the master control chip ofLM3S2620. Based on the modular thought, hardeware of Main control module,sampling buttons module, communication module, display module have beendesigned. On the basis of the construction of hardware circuit and partitioning,separately has carried on the software implementation for the above module, andfocus on lithium battery charging control strategy and algorithm. Charger controlsystem hardware and software design is based on function realization with highefficiency, stability and security as the goal.In order to realize the unifying of intelligent charging and battery system,the vehicle, this paper introduces the CAN bus communication technology intodesign, to put the charger and battery management system, combining the vehiclecontroller. Charger through internal CAN obtain information on the batterymanagement system, as charging control important basis, and through the external CAN charge information to control the power output module, so chargecontrol system and battery management system in between a real-timecommunication mechanism is established.Studies in the end, by charging experiments, proved in this paper, the designof the charger control system can meet the design requirements, the design ofsoftware and hardware, communication module, reasonable and effective.
