Now, the microwave radiometer is the very important passivemicrowave remote sensing instrument of the meteorological satellite. Anda lot of satellites have the microwave radiometer, such as NOAA,BLACK-5D、NPOESS and FY-3.It can detect the all-weather features ofthe target through receiving the microwave radiation energy of theobservation scene from the three-dimensional space.Along with the improve of the astronautically technology and themanufacturing capability of the remote sensing instrument, the radiationcalibration of the remote sensing instrument become gradually theimportant part of the microwave remote sensing science and technology, and it will take the very important effect on the success of the microwaveremote sensing technology. Now almost every spaceborne microwave radiometer conducts thelocal radiation test before the launch. It has two aims: estimating the basicfunction and getting the calibration coefficient for the quantitativeappliance. The paper takes the local thermal vacuum calibration technology ofthe FY-3microwave as the object of study, and the test plan, the testprocess, and the test outcome as the emphasis research content. Andbasing on the test result analysis, finally finish the research of thespareborne microwave radiometer local thermal vacuum calibrationtechnology.
