Ground-based microwave radiometer system is a kind of device for detecting atmosphere, as a new technology of atmospheric sounding, atmospheric detection using this equipment can make up for the shortcomings of conventional detection data and overcome the limitation of existing in the application of conventional atmospheric detection. Since it has on the earth’s surface- troposphere atmosphere temperature and humidity profile long-term continuous detection, no emission of electromagnetic wave, small size, convenient for field operation, easy networking etc, and has gradually replace the expensive radiosonde balloons, play a important role in the weather forecast work.Starting from the domestic and foreign research and development status of ground-based microwave radiometer equipment and relevant radiometer theory and technology, describes the recent ground-based microwave radiation research progress and development trend of meter equipment, focusing on the radiometer calibration principle are introduced. For ground-based microwave radiometer system to maintain long-term stability is an important index of radiometer performance, so the radiometer calibration is important, but the method of calibration is to determine first need to determine the radiometer system. This paper introduces two kinds of system at present the mainstream: full power radiometer system and Dick type radiometer, full power decided to use the improved radiometer system, in the system the radiometer calibration of the main two methods: Tip calibration method and high temperature two source calibration method, which uses high and low temperature two source scaling law as the calibration method of the system, because it is considered by analysis on the validity of the calibration set with high accuracy and high temperature, the main reason is the source and cold source accurately as a reference source.On the foundation of microwave radiation control of equipment meter system is composed of terminal display and control software system in this paper, the display and control software using Visual C++6.0 compiler environment on the PC, use the MFC interface to complete the program. The host communicates with the system equipment through RS-232 serial port. Display control software in addition to the completion of gauge control calibration process and sounding process of radiation, more important still need to meteorological data in the display and control software interface in real-time two-dimensional image and real-time 3D image display.Program scheduling with good relationship and real-time image display algorithm is an important factor of procedures to meet project requirements. In this paper, different functional requirements for the program, the development of 6 function module, wherein the radiometer calibration function module and sounding function module has the nature of exploration in the radiometer in engineering implementation. In the image display function module, the development of digital image low-pass filtering algorithm, the realization of the algorithm in the digital image processing algorithms to meet the current requirement of real-time improvement.Through the field test in Beijing, we prove that the image process and meteorological data system shows good reliability and practicability, meet the design requirements, and experts praise.
