With the rapid development of the Chinese Railway Industry, the requirements forsafety of train operating control system are becoming more and more rigorous. Thesafety of The Train Control System directly affects the efficiency of train traffic andsafety of driving. As communication protocols to achieve level4safety integrity,subset098secure communication protocol can meet the security requirements the TrainControl System needs on the network data transmission. The secure communicationsprotocol subset098is studied intensively and eventually achieved in the communicationmodule of temporary speed restricted server device.The main results and contents are summarized as follows:1. Data correspondence security is the key of Train Control system. In this paper,with the concept of secure communication, the requirements of communication securityin train control system are analyzed. Subset098secure communications protocol canprotect communication from common security threats, and meet the demand for security,which is applied to the communication equipment in the ground part of the train controlsystem.2. Subset098secure communication protocols is studied thoroughly, and based onthis protocol, the methods to defense threat is analyzed. According to the hierarchicalmodel of the protocol and the requirements of the temporary speed restriction server,and based on these work, the methods to defense threat is analyzed, and the improvedprogram is designed.3. Subset098secure communication protocol is divided into modules, anddesigned in communication module of the temporary speed restriction server. The testresults show that, by using subset098security protocol in the train control system, thecommon threat of network communication is prevented effectively, and the security ofdata communications is improved.
