Compound guidance is the mainstream of the modern precision-guided weapons’development. The development of information fusion algorithm which is the core ofcomposite seeker guided weapons is also fast. Information fusion algorithm for Missilesrequires real-time high; currently there is no common hardware platform to verify thereal-time level of the algorithm, which greatly limits the engineering applications ofinformation fusion algorithm for composite seeker. In response to this urgent need, thispaper developed a composite seeker information fusion simulation system which ownsthe multi-sensor data fusion processor as its core.Information fusion experimental system for composite seeker provides a commonexperimental platform to verify the validity and real-time of information fusionalgorithm. This paper describes the whole process of using the composite seekerinformation fusion simulation system to verify the performance of the informationfusion algorithm for Radar/IR-guided anti-ship missiles. The first is the sensorobservation data modeling, then introduce the composite-guided information fusionalgorithm, and then describes the experimental system hardware and software platform,the final results of the algorithm is given. The results show that composite seekerinformation fusion simulation system can be used to develop composite-guidedinformation fusion algorithm and verify whether the information fusion algorithm iseffective and real-time or not.
