Blade is one of the crucial parts of aero-engine, its structural strength directly affecting the engine’s efficiency and reliability. Blade, relatively poor working environment, in addition to withstanding high speed rotation of the air force, centrifugal force, vibration loads and thermal stress, is easy to faults. For example, vibration fault rate of Aero-engine accounts above60%of total fault rate according to statistics. While the blade vibration fault rate has accounted above70%of vibration fault rate. Therefore, it is necessary to establish suitable finite element model for analysis of the inherent characteristics and vibration response in the blade design process.In this paper, analysis method of the inherent characteristics and the vibration response of the blade are researched. First, this paper makes a comprehensive exposition about the research on the analysis method for inherent characteristics and vibration response of blade. On the basis of the conclusion of our predecessors on the method for inherent characteristics and vibration response of blade, using analytical method and finite element method to accurately predict and analyze the inherent characteristics of blades, using CFD software FLUENT to simulate blade three-dimensional flow field. Vibration response of the blade is analyzed on this.The paper includes the follows:(1) Analysis calculation methods of the blade vibration are researched. The twisting of the blade is not the case. Blade is considered variable section beam through some assumptions, using the classical theory of beam bending and torsion to calculate the bending and torsion mode shapes and natural frequency of blade.(2) Using ANSYS finite element software, the blade’s natural modal analysis and prestressed modal analysis are done. And in both cases the results are compared, and taking into account the inherent characteristics of the centrifugal force of the blade. In the basis of modal analysis to study the resonance of the blade and draw the Campbell map.(3) Using FLUENT for flow field analysis of the blades, analyzing blades flow velocity and pressure distribution along the blade radial and different speed impacting on flow rate, pressure of the blades.(4) Based on the flowing field analysis, the application of ANSYS software, considering the S1, S2pneumatic load and concentrated load to analyze blade vibration responseThe analysis method study of inherent characteristic and vibration response of blade implement analysis method of blade, considering the vibration response of S1, S2pneumatic load and concentrated load. It is important for the initial design of blade.
