With the urban population growth and the rapid development of modern city construction, high-rise buildings have become the mainstay in contemporary urban construction. In order to improve and guarantee of high-rise buildings transportation capacity, and provide more excellent service to people, the research on Elevator Group Control System (EGCS) is an urgent task. EGCS is developing very fast these years, though many advanced theories were introduced into EGCS, the transportation capacity of elevator system and service quality has improved a lot, there are still many issues to be solved.The main contents of this thesis include the introduction about the basic theories of EGCS and fuzzy neural network (FNN), the analysis about models of passengers’flow, the traffic pattern-recognition, the study about intelligent scheduling algorithm in EGCS. We will introduce parts of the contents and results separately in the following sections.This thesis reviews the development of EGCS, as well as the correlative control method used in EGCS; and also analyses the basic theory about the EGCS such as systematic characteristic, performance evaluation index and so on. In this section, it also introduces the structure and hybrid algorithm of FNN. Meanwhile, models of passengers’flow analysis are establelished, simulate the model and get the traffic data. In the traffic pattern-recognition, fuzzy neural network is adopted to distinguish it. This method has good recognition ability to distinguish the complicated traffic flow, and plays a good role of guidance to adopt the corresponding group control policy according to different traffic.Since the traditional management pattern of elevator traffic information easily cause the congestion and over-loading trouble, The thesis introduces EGCS with destination floor registration mechanism and the optimal dispatching algorithms is studied. In this thesis the hall call information is gathered by destination floor registration system, and this information is optimized into different groups. Meanwhile, detailed analysis of the application of new hall has been assigned for the hall. On the basis of the above analysis for the average waiting time, the average riding time and power consumption are accurately calculated. Regard this three performance evaluation as control target, and adopt fuzzy neural network to Optimization of dispatching in EGCS. Finally the thesis constructs Elevator Group Control Simulation system with destination floor registration under Matlab7.1. According to the comparison among destination registration with FNN, traditional FNN and minmum waiting time algorithm, it is proved that the design of dispatch system with destination floor registration is more effective.
