This design is the author of gymnastic horse mechanism inherit and develop the brother’s subject product, design and improve the prototype after carefully understood the material and information available and explore the kinematic principle. The product can greatly treat the children with cerebral palsy, and can alleviate cervical disease, fatigue, hip and abdominal fat reduction, body shaping and so on.The paper greatly studies the motion law of the horse, the theory of mechanism motion, the theory of organization and variation of the mechanism. After analysis crank-rocker mechanisms and cylindrical CAM mechanism by analytical method and receive their trajectory. The issue holds that by fitting these two institutions can achieve a reasonable simulation of "V8" type movement rule when the horse stroll. The eccentric shaft body varied from the crank-rocker mechanism simulated horse’s vertical "8"-shaped motion, cylindrical cam simulated horse’s small swing horizontal. Then design the structure diagram of the bionics mechanism of gymnastic horse. After grasp the overall motion law of the gymnastic horse, use the Pro/e software preliminary design three-dimensional models of various components. After simulation the assembly models several times, calculation, actual inspection and internet access to all relevant information. To finalize a reasonable size to meet the requirements of strength and stiffness, while selecting the best materials to ensure the gymnastic horse both lightweight and practical, finally, the appearance of gymnastic horse were optimized to make it more beautiful. After the completion of models designing, eccentric shaft body, cylindrical cam and the whole body were introduced into the Adams software by Mech/pro software to kinematic and dynamic simulation. From which can receive the key parameters of the running gymnastic horse, force curve of the core rod and verify the body movement.Finally, closely check and calculate the risk parts and the stability of the gymnastic horse, verify the mechanical design of the reasonable.
