With the continuous development of automotive technology, more and more body electronics are used in the car in order to improve vehicle safety, comfort and convenience. The functions of modern automobile electrical and control systems are more and more powerful, get more information, become more intelligent. Reliability and security is getting better. It have been from the tradition transport into multi-function "mobile space" include comfort, environmental protection, energy saving, automation, mobile-oriented.Driver’s chair is the most closely direct contact part with human body. Good chair position and angle can prevent driver from some diseases which come after long time driving. Automobile rearview mirror reflects the bottom, rear and side of the automobile, so the driver can indirectly look at the situation of these locations. Good location of the automobile rearview mirror can ensure good traffic safety. The traditional chair and mirror were adjusted by manual, later develop to electric adjustment, but the chair and mirror with function of location storage and recovery can really make the driver control it more easily.The paper develops a memorial control unit for rearview mirror and chair and rearview mirror. This control unit can electrical adjust forward-back, forward height, back height, head height and chair back angle of driver’s chair, it also can adjust the up-down and left-right angles of rearview mirror. The control unit can memorize the positions of rearview chair and mirror after adjustment and we can renew the positions when we need. This system can also show the status of storage and the motor speed.The paper discusses the working principle of the memorial rearview mirror and chair control unit based on the basic buildup of automobile electrical control system. Then it detailed introduced the choose process and use of ECU, hardware circuit design and software program flow, develops relevant prototype system, and finished the function experiment and precision experiment. The result of experiment tells that the system can accomplish all the functions we designed, and the control precision can meet the need of drivers’daily use.The development of the control unit will help improve the domestic development of the chair and the rearview mirrors control unit, and also the design has some industrial application value.
