The internet of things is a conception, connecting networked objects and smart devicestogether to realize some functions. These functions include information exchange, intelligentidentification, monitoring and management. But the application of network washing machinestill tends to be a speculation, which cannot have further study. To solve this problem,network and intelligent mobile technologies have been put forward and become two parts ofthe internet of things.In order to develop network washing machine, simulated washing machine is built tocomplete laundry process research, data format customization and network protocol transplant.In TCP/IP transplantations, uIP stack is chosen for further study. Traditional uIP stack timerincludes in system clock, and frequently leads to reading cycle in simulated washing machine.To solve this problem, some improvements such as network time protocol and estimationerrorkare done, which has been determined by test. Furthermore, a new UDP format in uIPstack is customized to carry out the NTP client function. The clock offset test is done onsimulated washing machine, and the result shows that the average clock accuracy is less than0.0029ms. In ZigBee transplant tion, Z-STACK2006is chosen to realize point-to-pointcommunication mode, and been tested through the washing machine.In order to develop intelligent mobile device, Samsung S3C2440is selected to be thehardware platform. On this platform, WinCE system customization and user interfacedevelopment is accomplished respectively. In TCP/IP communication section, TraditionalTCP/IP protocol includes in many inappropriate blocking I/O operations. These operationsfrequently lead to receiving thread blockage in the communication. To solve this problem,some improvements such as asynchronous non-blocking and multi-threading technology aredone on the TCP network layer. In ZigBee communication section, a serial control is done toshow the collected data. The test have been carried out on simulated washing machine, andthe result is good.
