With the development of the technology and the improvement of people’s living standard, more and more attention has been paid to Smart Home. After decades of rapid development, not confining to auto-control household appliance, Smart Home has been able to offer a more safe and comfortable dwelling environment with the function of automatic control.In order to realize the centralized management of household appliance and dwelling environment and the information exchange, this paper uses Samsung microprocessor as the control hardware of the Smart Home, which combing bluetooth with embedded technology, to connect household appliances by bluetooth sensor-net. The household appliance terminals collect environment information, which then will be sent to the controller of Smart Home by the wireless network of bluetooth on the one hand;on the other hand,the controller could issue orders at the household appliance terminals to control the household appliances by the wireless network of the bluetooth.The main contents are the following:firstly,analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the wireless network, the paper induces the research background and signification of the Smart Home System (hereinafter refers to SHS), and the reasons that designs the Smart Home System by bluetooth with embedded technology; secondly,the paper details the crucial technique,embedded system and bluetooth specification applied in Smart Home System;thirdly, the paper proposes the main conceptual design of SHS based the systematically analysis of functions which must be realized in SHS and main factories that have to be considered in the design;fourthly,the design circuit in SHS,which includes ARM processor for controller, SCM of the terminal equipments,and bluetooth for wireless transmission and on,is introduced systematically by the paper; fifthly, the paper details how the terminals to implement the design by controller terminals with embedded system and equipment terminals with cyclic scanning program;finally, in order to make the user could supervise the dwelling environment more convenience, SHS designed by QT/Embedded is introduced at length. To summary, the paper also presents some ideas for further research.
