Study On The Landscape Of Ornamental Plant In Urban Square Of Shangrao

With the functions to the human psychology and mental regulation and the ecological, physical and chemical effect it expresses, Plant landscape becomes one of the basic elements for a city which has ecological and cultural environment, More important is, due to its characteristics of growth, plant landscape proves to be the most special and potential factor in urban square landscape.Ornamental plant is not just the material composition of square, sometimes even bears the thematic role on the formation of all the square cultural identity. Itself expresses the design ideas and the aesthetic pursuit.Through investigation and study on the commonly used floristic component and the arrangement patterns in different type of city square, such as the municipal square, the commercial square, the entertainment leisure square and subsidiary square of Shangrao, this thesis analyzes species abundance, multiplicity and main arrangement pattern in various squares, Ziyang Garden, Sakula Garden and Gymnasium Subsidiary Square are the better. The result of the study shows:(1) In Shangrao Municipal Square, there are comparatively less brushwood but more area of grass. The proportion of brushwood to grass is improper. The proportion in Ziyang Park is more reasonable than that in Xuri Square, City Park and Rabbit Square.(2) In the commercial square(Shangrao Square), the level of brushwood is lower while the grass level is higher. The proportion of brushwood to grass is improper.(3) The proportion of brushwood to grass in Sakura Garden is more reasonable than that in Double Tower Garden. What’s more, the landscape in spring and summer in Sakura Garden is better than that in Double Tower Park. However the landscape in autumn and winter in Double Tower Garden is better than that in Sakura Garden.(4) The species abundance and multiplicity in Gymnasium Subsidiary Square is better than that in Musium Subsidiary Square.And in this foundation, this thesis recommends some evergreen trees, defoliated trees, ground covers and the lianas, also the typical arrangement pattern. Then it points out the existed questions in plant arrangement of Shangrao city square and puts forward the proposal. In expectation to improve the urban environment, manifest the region culture, construct ecology garden city, and build characteristic city garden landscape.
