With the deepening of the research on thermal insulation materials and the improving ofbuilding energy conservation and environmental protection consciousness. Researching anddeveloping lightweight thermal insulation materials with good performance, will to be one ofthe effective ways to improve the living environment and solve the energy problems. China’sbuilding energy efficiency thermal insulation is in the development stage, the main types areglass bead thermal insulation, polystyrene particles thermal insulation, expanded perlitethermal insulation, But some thermal insulation mortar still have some flaws in itself, needsfurther research. In this paper, cementitious material of cement-based thermal insulation mortar wereportland cement a small amount of fly ash. The effect of reducing agent and dispersible powderon mortar performance was studied. The physical foaming agent was preparated, by whichinsulation mortar was foam, and the insulation performance of mortar was improved. Paraffinemulsion and paraffin emulsion-polyvinyl alcohol waterproofing agent were preparated toreduce the water absorption of mortar, and the waterproof mechanism was studied. Theperformance of mortar meet the national standard GB/T20473-2006, and played a certain rolein the production of cement-based thermal insulation mortar. The study would play a positiverole to promote on the development of wall insulation materials. This article first mixed with different amounts of fly ash in cement paste, and the effect offly ash on cement material was studied. When5%-15%fly ash were mixed to cement material, strength decline was smaller, When more than15%fly ash, strength declines was great. Theoptimum content of fly ash was15%.The article used naphthalene water reducing agent, and the saturation dosage was1.0%.Then the best volume ratio of cement materials and polystyrene particles was studied. When thevolume ratio was less than1:3, the density of mortar is too big. When the volume ratio wasmore than1:3, the intensity of mortar decreased too much. The optimum content of polystyreneparticles was1:3.A few powder were added in the mortar to improve the rapping of mortar and light aggregate, and the strength of the mortar was improved. The optimum content of powder was2.5%. Then by adding glass beads to replace some beads polystyrene particles, to reduce theinternal voids of the mortar. The advantages of polystyrene particles and glass beads wereplayed out, and the performance of mortar were improved. The article prepared physical foaming agent by animal protein, and the different size anddifficult to control size of foam producted by chemical blowing agent were overcome. When1.5%Ca(OH)2concentration,100℃water temperature,6h hydrolysis time, the foaming abilityand stability were the best.Physical foaming agent of foam often appeared rupture phenomenon because of liquid lowviscosity. Physical foaming agent was improved by SDBS and gelatin. When the content ofSDBS was0.2%, and the content of gelatin was0.1%, the foaming ability and stability were thebest. The article foamed insulation cement mortar used of special foam process. The effect offoam content on density, compressive strength and coefficient of thermal conductivity werestudied. When the content of foam was250ml,the three performances of mortar meet thenational standard GB/T20473-2006. The microscopic structure and the mechanism of foamwere studied.Usually, the use scope and lifetime of mortar were limited because of waterproof poor.Paraffin emulsion was preparated and the effect of paraffin emulsion content on mortarperformance. The waterproof mechanism of paraffin emulsion was studied and the insulationmortar later waterproof properties was little improved. Paraffin emulsion-polyvinyl alcoholwas preparated to improve paraffin emulsion, and mortar’s later waterproof performance wasimproved greatly.
