With the development of automobile technology in China, it’s very common tocheck ergonomics in the development of new products by using the RAMSIS, but in theearly stage, it is still arranged by two-dimensional template for layout design, only useRAMSIS in the late stage to check the product’s comfort and so on. This paper presentsthe layout design is, using Chinese body model in RAMSIS for layout design in theearly stage.In this paper, a passenger car of class A is the research object, which based on theChinese body model in RAMSIS, and designed and analyzed for interior ergonomiclayout with the recommend comfortable driving posture from RAMSIS, in this process,it eliminated the layout of drivers’ comfort later check, to a certain extent, it alsoshortened the time of layout design.After the interior of the automobile ergonomics layout design, windshielddefrosting area was designed and analyzed by RAMSIS eye points, and checked therange on the inside and outside rearview mirror visual,it also designed and analyzed thelimit position of engine hood, luggage compartment door and door opening angle by the95thmale model and the5thfemale model.On the checking reachable of drivers, SAE hand-control reach and RAMSIShand-control reach were used to analyze the reachable of drivers, and the results werecompared and analyzed, found that the use of the RAMSIS hand-control reach to get theresults required higher than the SAE hand-control reach.On the instrument panel zone analysis, it used the SAE eye ellipse and RAMSISeye points respectively to analyze the dashboard area, and the results were comparedand analyzed, found that in the altitude range, SAE eye ellipse requiremented slightlyhigher than RAMSIS, and in width, RAMSIS requiremented slightly higher than theSAE eye ellipse.In the A column blind analysis, it used the SAE eye ellipse, GB11562-1994andRAMSIS eye points respectively to analyze the A column blind area, and the resultswere compared and analyzed, found that the measured binocular obstacle angle ofresults is, RAMSIS focus results> SAE eye ellipse results> GB11562-1994results; for the A column blind checking requirements, the RAMSIS requirement is higher thanother two methods, and in the checking process, RAMSIS checking process is betterthan the SAE eye ellipse and GB11562-1994checking methods in operation and thetime of analysis.
