From the late 1890 s to the early 1900 s commercial vehicles were complementary to rail and sea transport.With the gradual improvement of roads and the rise of road transportation,commercial vehicles have gradually become an indispensable part of the transportation.With the development of China's economy and the gradual improvement of highway,the role of commercial vehicles in China's transportation is increasingly prominent,and the inter-city and intra-city logistics industry is flourishing.With the continuously increase of the number of commercial vehicles,accidents caused by commercial vehicles have become a focus of attention.Different from passenger cars,commercial vehicles have large weight,large body volume,limited vision of the driver and complicated operation.Therefore,great efforts need to be made to improve the safety of commercial vehicles.For commercial vehicles,in addition to the influence of bad road conditions and weather,accidents caused by improper operation of drivers due to blind areas of vision are also numerous.According to statistics,30% of the total traffic accidents are caused by drivers' vision problems.Specifically,the driver's blind field of vision refers to the area where the driver's line of sight cannot be observed due to the spatial structure and size of the driving vehicle.For a new commercial vehicle driver,misjudgments can lead to accidents even when additional mirrors are installed.The blind area of commercial vehicle vision is the biggest obstacle and problem for drivers to perceive the surrounding environment.In order to solve the problem,this paper carries out the real vehicle test and analysis on the blind area of commercial vehicle drivers' vision.This paper first puts forward the test method of vehicle static visual field blind area,and carries out the tests on two commercial vehicles.After analyzing the test results,this paper establishes a vehicle cab model,based on this model the blind area of 3D vision is built.Then the blind area data of 3D visual field are studied and analyzed in this paper.After the static visual field blind area test and analysis,this paper has carried on the test and the statistics to the commercial vehicle driving process: the driver's eye movement rule.Four skilled drivers were invited for the designed vehicle test,which was divided into five different working conditions.After completing the test,this paper makes statistical analysis of the data.After the completion of the eye movement test,this paper designs four working conditions and uses the eye tracker and aerial camera to test the dynamic blind area during the vehicle movement.Through the analysis of video recorded,the visual field area concerned by the driver in different working conditions was determined and analyzed together with the static visual field blind area.According to the above test and the data obtained from the test,this paper extracts the blind area of vision that has the greatest impact on the drivers' driving of commercial vehicles.Based on the analysis,this paper also designs an optimization algorithm to optimize point H in the cab design.The optimization not only satisfies the driver's blind field of vision,but also guarantees the driver's riding comfort.In the optimization algorithm,a two-dimensional human body model with simplified eye points is built,and the real body size of four drivers is used in the model data.This paper focuses on the study,test and analysis of the blind area of commercial vehicle drivers' vision,which plays a very important guiding role for relevant researches.The test methods of static visual field blind area,the eye movement rule,the dynamic visual field blind area are proposed in this paper,as well as the related equipment used in the test,which can guide the related field test.In addition,the analysis of real car test data and the optimization of the optimal field of view H point are of great significance for reference.
