In general, the main factors affecting the reliability of the bridge include the naturalenvironment, the sharp increase of vehicle load and material aging in three areas. In the jointaction of internal and external factors, the in-service highway bridges in the structure of systems, components and materials certainly appear three degrees of aging damage, leading to weakeningof bridge bearing capacity and durability, affecting the normal use of the bridge. Therefore, theresearch of highway bridges work performance evaluation has great economic and socialbenefits. In this thesis, we analysis the existed research papers, study the engineering entity, use AHPas the main research methods and mathematical modeling as a supporting tool, use fuzzy sets andfuzzy membership function to quantify the operability of factors, on the dry river valley bridge’sdurability, safety, suitability three aspects of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. During theevaluation of river’s the reliability, especially in the assessment of durability and safety aspects, this thesis considers all the main factors allusively and synthetically, striving to make the resultsof the assessment closer to the actual situation.Based on the results of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, using the Markov process topredict the age of the river valley bridge, contrasting the final prediction and assessment of theexperts and proving that Markov process can be matched with fuzzy math, jointly to predict theremaining life of the bridge.
