Currently, the effect of plants in landscape architecture is more and more important, the status of deciduous arborescence is the same, how to have deciduous trees best applied to virescence, how to take the graceful effect, ecological effect, economic effect, cultural effect of deciduous arborescence are still needed to considerate. This article expounds deciduous trees in the urban landscape of principle which the trees can adapt to local conditions and coordinate with the surrounding environment and be conserved scientifically, sums up the application of deciduous trees should follow principles in color,space,morphology,culture aspects, as well as analyses configuration form between deciduous trees and other plants, relates to construction and other garden pieces.Based on extensive collection and investigations on the status of deciduous trees use in the urban landscape.We investigate application of various deciduous trees and record the kinds and proportion of plants in green fields of Changsha City on the basis of theory research and analysis.Garden Plants have1,544kinds which deciduous trees have145kinds, accounts for26.6%. Deciduous trees of application frequency quite high have31kinds, medium,have34kinds, lowly have80kinds.I think by analysis that deciduous trees should at least increase to more than30%in urban landscape trees. We have summed up deciduous trees of various types of configuration and Landscaping characteristics that deciduous trees should in general be more appropriate as ahead of schedule trees, with evergreen configuration,and form an "all year round, not the same as" plant landscape. Landscaping features is which evergreen species dominate and deciduous trees supplemente,which landscape phenomenon change significantly, which landscape and ecological effects are both important.This article points out the deficiencies of plant landscaping that is lack of features, configuration is monotone and cultural connotation is less. And put forward feasible resolutions: the government constitutes relevant policies on deciduous trees and evaluates their application of garden city. We should step up propaganda work in order to tap their cultural connotation and properly collocate species between deciduous trees and evergreen trees.In short, how to landscape scientifically and create colorful landscape and reduce the expenses of urban construction are also discussed in this article.
