With the rapid development of urban construction, building a large number of high-rise buildings and urban underground space development and utilization, there has been a lot of deep excavation. In this paper, the geotechnical finite element analysis software MIDAS/GTS simulate the elastic-plastic finite element of renovation and expansion foundation pit excavation and support in Hangzhou Huanglong Hotel project. This paper analysis the displacement of the retaining structure and the support force in the construction process, compared with the measured values.according to the calculation of displacements and internal forces. In this paper, main research woek is as follows:(1) Based on reading literature describes the the foundation pit design theory, analysis of the envelope structure during the excavation of the monitoring results.(2) In studying soil constitutive relations, on the basis of yield criterion, consider the soil-structure interaction, and the establishment of the soil and finite element model of the building envelope, Elastoplastic numerical simulation of the staged construction of excavation.(3) By comparison with the measured data, analysis of staged construction of excavation support system of China and Turkey, the horizontal displacement and settlement change shaft and surrounding buildings.Although the finite element method calculation results and the actual existence of a certain bias, but the finite element simulation can provide a theoretical reference and guidance for engineering design and site construction, while monitoring the results for further optimization and improvement of the finite element method provides the actual data.
