In this paper, a monolithic DC/DC power chip was studied, and the theoreticalanalysis, simulation and verification of various performances of circuit structure weremade. The results showed that the study made in the paper could correspond closelywith expection. The contents of the study in the paper are as follows.1. By collecting and reading materials of various products of DC/DC power in theindustry, history and development trend of structures used for DC/DC power productswere summarized, and the principle and characteristic of each structure were brieflyintroduced..2. Design idea and technology selection of BUCK switching power supply wereanalyzed in detail.3. Study of the internal composition of the chip is focused on, the functions andstructures of every single part were introduced in considerable detail.4. The key internal references, LDO, error amplifier, soft start, PTAT current andoverheat protection circuit, UVLO, timing circuit, and oscillation circuit were simulatedand verified.Key technical difficulties in the chip were solved by the study made in the paper.Analysis, simulation and verification of its internal structures provide the importantreference in developing switching power supply, reference power circuit, and amplifiercircuit.
