As city grows and develops, basement of tall building and substructure increase, theiranti-floating problem becomes more and more noticeable. Especially in beachfront, watertable is higher than that of inland. When structure’s deadweight can not resist groundwater,substructure’s anti-floating problem comes along with it. Anti-floating design of substructurebasement is used to adopt bore affuse pile and hand excavation pile and so on to provideanti-floating force. Recent years, anti-floating anchor is applied widely by its advantages ofconstruction convenience, simple operation and less costs.So far from what we had learn during the design of anti-floating, uncertainties are exsiton the calculation means and modeling method, what more, there is no conculsion on the mostoptimized arrangement of the anti-floating anchor to all the engineering project. Based onsummarizing a large number of literature about the anti-floating anchor and raft foundation aswell as the theory and analysis method of interaction, anti-floating anchor layout schemeswere analyzed with the anchor-raft foundation-the upper structure overall finite elementanalysis method, the specific include the following aspects of content:1) By describing the analysis models and methods of the overall common role on anchor-raft foundation-the upper structure in detail, the theoretical foundation can be laid for furtherstudy.2) A whole finite element modeling method was proposed on anchor-raft foundation-the upper structure. By comparing with other traditional and simplified modeling methods ofthe internal forces and displacements, it proves the superiority and necessity of the proposedmethod; Moreover, the effect on the stiffness changes to raft foundation was discussed in thispaper.3) Based on the weight and water buoyancy ratio of25%, and50%and75%, variousmodels of different anchor layout schemes were built while the pros and cons were comparedbetween different schemes. Finally, the trends can be seen of different the anchor layoutschemes and the optimal anchor layout schemes can be obtain on a variety of typical cases,which provides a reference for future design.
