In recent years, along with the opening of the long-distance passengerspecial line and the intercity railway, the high-speed railway construction inChina has entered into a new stage of rapid development. According to the relevantplanning, the total mileage of China’s high-speed railway is supposed to reach100,000km in2020. As is well known, high-speed rail has many advantages. Itmoves fast, links important cities, and even becomes the presentation windowof urban landscape. Therefore, the landscape control of the area along therailway line gradually becomes an important research issue. By far, domesticresearch is mainly focused on the landscape along the general railway line, butseldom involves the landscape along high-speed rail as the research object,especially on the aspect of dynamic landscape. So, it is meaningful that thisessay picked the “dynamic landscape of the area along the high-speed railway”as the main topic.This essay is made up of three primary parts including five chapters in total:The first part of this essay explained the conception and some relevantbackground of the research object. And then it presented some questions aboutthe current situation of the object. Meanwhile, it also integrate the basictheories of the visual characteristics and dynamic landscape, and analyzed theuseful part of these theories which can support this essay.The second part of this essay explained the conception of dynamic landscape,and analyzed its feature. It also studied the factors which affects the landscapequality, including influence that the carriage brings to passengers when theyare enjoying the view, the landscape style of the areas that the railway linepasses through. The purpose of this part is to abstract the main elements ofdynamic landscape, and figure out both the internal and external definitiveconditions that affect the quality of dynamic landscape.The third part of this essay is most important, including the fourth andfifth chapter. Based on the relevant theories about visual characteristic, itdiscussed the possible methods which could be used on landscape control of the areas along the high-speed railway. By using the mathematical way, the fourthchapter reached the principle and method about the landscape control which aimsat the dynamic landscape elements of the areas along the high-speed railway line.Based on the previous work, the fifth chapter integrated the control methodsmentioned before and concluded the guide line of the dynamic landscape control.In a word, the essay positively studied the methods and content of dynamiclandscape control, and tried hard to discover an integral targeted control methodto control the dynamic landscape of the areas along high-speed railway line.All these work is based on theories about visual characteristic, and hope toprovide some basis for the landscape planning work on areas along the high-speedrailway line.
