Bridge is an architecture which is built for crossing the natural or man-made obstacles.The large or super large highway bridges cross the rivers and roads. So their main spans areusually very large and structures very complex. At the same time, to ensure thetraffic(navigation) clearance and vertical curve to meet regulation requirements, the approachof highway bridge is generally much longer than the main bridge, and in order to make theproject’s economic and reasonable, approach will be used most relatively homogeneous,simple and reliable structure. Because of the advantages of clear forces, simple structure, easyconstruction, suitable for factory production, short construction period and so on, fabricatedsimply supported beam is not only the most widely used structure of the approaches of largeor super large bridges, but also the first choice of medium or small bridges. Therefore, a largenumber of highway bridges use fabricated simply supported beams, the importance of thequality of construction is self-evident for road construction projects. Among them, engineersparticularly concern whether the carrying capacity of the structure meets the design andspecification requirements, and static load test of single-chip beam is the most basic testmethods and means. The bridge static load test and evaluation criteria are based on thedocument The Test Method of Long-Span Concrete Bridge. However, the document isrelatively old (enacted in1982), the application scope is narrow(for the beam bridge, span isgreater than40m or the arch bridge, span is greater than60m) and assessment standards haveuncertainty (the allowable range of the verification coefficient is the reference value whichrefer to foreign research). Besides the test results can be affected by many factors. Althoughsingle-chip beam static load test is not complex, its test data and results in the scientificevaluation, accuracy, reliability, there are still some issues on the scientificity, accuracy andreliability of the test data and evaluation to be resolved.This paper focus on these problems, with single prestressed concrete beams (T beams,hollow plate, small box girder) static load test for the study, and detailing researches on straincalibration factor (one of calibration factors). Research contents include:(1) deal with the main factor of strain calibration factor by the process random parameterization, then theprobability analysis of the verification coefficient, to gain the random characteristic value ofstrain calibration factor and the evaluation index information under the meaning ofprobabilty.(2) Collect field experimental data (samples), and introduce the measurementuncertainty principle, apply to mathematical statistical methods, the strain calibration factor(overall) for statistical analysis, to gain the assessed value of the random statisticalproperties.(3) Observe the analysis result of (1) and (2), assess the theoretical results from thefield test data by the statistical accuracy of the results.(4) Do the comparative analysis of theabove results and the "long-span concrete bridge test method," under the assessment criteria,to get more scientific, accurate and reliable evaluation.
