With the continuous development of our national economy,the improvement of people’s living standards, the automobile industry is ascendant. More and more families have their own private cars, the auto industry’s rapid development provides people’s lives with a great convenience. At the same time, vehicle development has also brought many negative effects, such as energy, environmental pollution, etc., the main problem is traffic safety. Large amounts of data at home and abroad show that car accidents are increasing, with the continuous increase in car product on, and due to the number of car accidents, casualties are also growing alarmingly. Therefore, we have to pay high attention to traffic safety, and seek ways and means of improving transportation and environment.Automobile collisions are divided into experimental study and numerical simulation analysis. Experimental Analysis has a long cycle, with the rapid development of current computer performance, numerical simulation analysis is being widely used,numerical analysis has short cycle and can be operated repeatly, so the development mature increasingly. At present, MADYMO software is widely used at home and abroad to study occupant restraint system, it can find optimization method on car crash safety. In this paper, a car crash safety of the occupant restraint system is made a comprehensive study, the analysis of the occupant restraint system control parameters of injurying occupant and the matching optimization problems of the parameters is studied, mainly include:1、Based on the finite element theory, built seat belts, airbags, roof, windows and floors finite element model by the use of HyperMesh software,and based on multi-body theory, vehicle driver restraint system multi-body model is established in the MADYMO, the model including seat belts, instrument panels and dummies, etc., the information of the finite element nodes and elements in HyperMesh software will be imported into the MADYMO software, the whole occupant restraint system model will be established.2、B Zhu acceleration curve of collision model from the vehicle collision test is used as input conditions of occupant restraint system, according to the relevant collision regulations, adjust the location of dummy, do occupant restraint system crash simulation analysis, simulation and experimental results are compared to ensure the reliability of simulation model.3、According to the results of crash simulation analysis, we use experimental design methods to do the orthogonal experimental design with occupant restraint system control parameters, doing sensitivity analysis, screening out the parameters that injury occupant largely, and then the parameters were optimized by the method that experimental design and building agent model combined. A set of parameters values by optimization are imported into the original simulation model, do simulation analysis by using simulation software MADYMO,the results of calculation compared with the results that agent model optimize.The work of the project provides occupant restraint system simulation research with a reference significance, the optimization method used in this paper has certain reference value to occupant restraint system parameters optimization research.
