By the end of 2015,China's motor vehicle has a total of 264 million cars,154 million cars.But the incidence rating of road traffic accidents increase with the vehicle number increasing.When the accident occurred,how protect occupant life safety,effectively improve the vehicle passive safety performance,has become the main research content of the world's largest auto OEM.Finite element analysis of occupant restraint system is the main content of vehicle passive safety simulation research.In this paper,we set up the frontal crash occupant restraint system simulation model based on the LS-DYNA software.according optimization and analysis,to do deeply researching on vehicle passive safety.Now most of occupant restraint system finite element analysis optimization,are focused on certainty parameters like safety airbags,steering wheel,seat belts and occupant seats.But we consider less on the uncertain factors influence.In reality,design variables and crash conditions change frequently,make the of the optimization target beyond design boundaries and make the design failure,extend product development cycle.In this paper,on the basis of summarizing the predecessors' research results,according on experimental design methods,to do vehicle frontal crash occupant restraint system optimization.In this article,we do analyze on automotive passive safety design content and design method,introduces domestic and overseas research status.Introduces the vehicle frontal crash occupant injury evaluation criterion and crash regulations.Set up CNCAP 100% front crash finite element analysis simulation model base on LS-DYNA software,including the model of the vehicle structure,seat belts and airbags finite element model,Hybrid III 50 th dummy model.We use LS-DYNA software to fixing the dummy model,define model finite element contact,we calculation and analysis by the model simulation calculation solver,and calculate the result.Then use sensitivity method to analysis the model various parameters,to analysis influence of model single parameter changes on the constraint system.Using the orthogonal test gauge method to set the test sensitivity parameters,use polar difference analysis method to applied to deal with the test data,and integrated use of experimental design method,to optimize the occupant restraint system finite element model.We can find optimal solution for sensitivity parameter,compare with design scheme and optimization design.According vehicle CNCAP 100% impact test,show optimization is effective.Vehicle frontal safety impact performance has obviously improvement.
