| At present, the research of five senses landscape design has aroused attention of the landscape architecture and related disciplines, landscape designers realize the visual effects of the landscape design are important, but not the only goal. It must pay close attention to all kinds of perception in the design, including visual, auditory, olfactory, tactile, gustatory and so on, through meeting people’s a variety of perception to reflect vitality of the environmental landscape, to make all kinds of social groups has a full range of sensory experiences about the environmental landscape, This kind of design can truly achieve people-oriented concept of "the design for all people". The landscape of Chengdu Huan Hxi park emphases the idea of humanized design, considering the design of accessibility route, however, lacking of the practice of systematic theorety which support with humanized design. Therefore, The author selects the five senses design of Huan Huaxi park landscape and studies it, looking forwarding to providing some reference to the construction of the park.This article selects the Chengdu City Huan Huaxi park as the research object, studying the five senses design of park landscape. First and the foremost, through the literature research systematically studied the theories of five senses design, understanding the present research situation at home and abroad, applying the method of case study, and has analyzed the domestic and foreign classic case. In addition selecting Huan Huaxi park as the research object, undertaking on-the-spot survey, adding up elements of five senses design about Huan Huaxi park landscape, analyzing the park’s main design elements and its application in practice. What’s more, by means of questionnaire survey, focusing on analyzing the visitors visual, listening, touch, smell and other perceptual and visitors’overall impression on the park. Last but not the least, through the inductive method, the five senses design of Huan Huaxi park landscape is discussed, pointing the deficiencies of Huan Huaxi park in perceiving landscape, and put forward the corresponding optimization strategy.The use of five senses design theory is practice direction that landscape architects strive to. This paper, selecting Huan Huaxi park as the research object, discusses the five senses design of park landscape, intending to explore how to build a better, more pleasant park landscape environment, in order to offer more scientific and effective implementation methods, building a more comfortable and attractive landscape environment.
