With the development of new technology, concrete which is the traditional building material has been put forward higher request. Reactive powder concrete (RPC) with high ductility, high strength, high durability and a series of characteristics, has been widely used in protective engineering field. Fibers have been widely used in common concrete as modified materials. As a new type of protective engineering material, research on the performance of different fibers reinforced RPC is carried out step by step. The effects of different fibers and water-binder ratio were researched on the compressive strength, bending strength, tensile strength and electromagnetic shielding performance of RPC. The best fiber content was determined by analyzing how fibers change RPC’s strength and electromagnetic shielding performance. The penetration performance of RPC was researched using14.5mm gun. The failure pattern and penetration depth of RPC were measured and the damage of RPC was evaluated by ultrasonic method.Research shows that the best RPC’s water-binder ratio is0.18. Steel fibers can significantly improve the performances of RPC. The best volume fraction of steel fibers is3%considering preparing method. Carbon nanotubes can significantly improve RPC’s absorption peak and the optimal fraction is0.1%. Carbon nanotubes also can improve RPC’s bandwidth, when the volume fraction is0.2%, RPC’s bandwidth reaches the maximum. For hybrid fibers,3%steel fibers and0.5%net PP fibers can improve RPC’s strength obviously.3%steel fibers and1%basalt fibers can improve RPC’s resistance to penetration obviously.
