In recent years, energy saving and environmental protection have become the focus of thecentral government and society. AC Motor Frequency Control, as one of the energy-savingproducts, have been widely used in many industries and showing the broad market prospect. ACMotor Frequency Control and related technological research has become an important subject inmodern electric drive areas. What’s more, with the development of the new power electronicdevices and the microprocessor and the exchange of motor control, AC frequency converterTechnology will also make tremendous progress. In the field of the AC variable frequency speedregulation, pulse width modulation technology and other key technology have been appliedwidely. Through the research of the high performance direct vector control variable frequencyspeed regulating system of R&D, it is very meaningful to improve the overall product qualityand rich variety of inverter.In this paper, three-phase AC induction motor is the object. TMS320LF281x (32fixed-point DSP chips) is the processor. By using a power module and through SPWM ACmotor control technology to achieve constant pressure than the Direct Vector Control, theDSP-based Universal Frequency conversion Control System is designed. This essay introducesthe background and significance of the research and the designing of the vector control systemhardware circuit.Furthermore, it introduces the TI company DSP chip TMS320LF2811andsome characteristics of the internal resources. The mathematical model of AC induction motor,vector coordinate transformation and the basic principle are also included. There are also theprinciple of SVPWM algorithm and other important motor control algorithm parameter (selflearning algorithm PR, flux, speed observer algorithm, over current, over voltage suppressionalgorithm and dead zone compensation algorithm). In the end, it’s about the correlation testwhich proves the correctness of the control design.This product has obtained the good social and economical value with the development ofthe DSP based direct vector control variable frequency speed regulating system.
