Test Research And Analysis On Mechanical Behavior Of Bamboo Concrete Hollow Slabs

China has a long history of taking bamboo wood as a kind of building material,and ranks first in bamboo resources reserves and bamboo biodiversity.Bamboo woodwith wide raw material and fast regeneration owns good physical mechanical property.Its specific strength and specific stiffness overtops rebar. It can be sawed and planed,so its processability is fine. Bamboo wood’s specific consumption is lower than rebarand concrete. As a kind of fast-grown forest resources, its superior property is alreadyconcerned now and is used in some fields. But there is some distance for applicationin domain of civil engineering. The main reason is that there is no simple and accuratemethod of bamboo accepted by engineering.The paper mainly discusses the mechanical testing of bamboo concrete hollowslabs. The deflection under all levels of loads is tested. With the development ofdeflection through experiment, the destruction process, destruction shape and thedestruction mechanism of hollow slabs are discussed and the combination effect ofbamboo and concrete is inspected by observing deflection of the bamboo concretehollow slabs under all levels of loads, and the limit bearing capacity of hollow slabs isobtained. And the load-deflection curve of the bamboo concrete hollow slab isobtained. According to the different combination forms between bamboo and concrete,the test result indicated that combination is quite reasonable, the combined effect isgood. By improving hollow slab shear capacity and bonding properties, the hollowslab bearing capacity can be effectively improved. So it can be used as floor inbuildings.Finally, through the experiment study and theoretical analysis. The analyticresult of ANSYS program and the test results fit well. And the feasibility of thebamboo concrete hollow slab in building is proved. Also it illustrates that the elementtype, meshing fashion and coupling manner used in ANSYS model can be used for thebamboo concrete composite structure calculation and analysis.The above research results provide some references for Hunan bamboo wood’sapplication in building field.
