In recent years, China power grid is rapidly developing, actively developingnuclear energy is one of the most important ways to increase energy supply andimprove the environmental pollution in China. As one of the key equipments of thehigh temperature gas-cooled reactor, the driving of main helium ventilatorperformance analysis is very important, but due to immature stage of domestic, therelevant technical issues need to be resolved. In this paper, according to the designdata of the nuclear power plant that is planning to construct, the main heliumventilator driving motoroperation state was analyzed through the two methods ofelectromagnetic field and magnetic circuit.In this thesis, based on the finite element method, two-dimensional finiteelement model was established, the distribution of magnetic density and magneticflux was analyzed when the main helium ventilator driving motorran in13Hz,67Hzand71Hz. At the same time, when the main helium ventilator driving motor ran inthree frequencies, the phase currents, the electromagnetic torque and speed wereanalyzed. And by observing the changes and variation, the results were analyzed.Using the magnetic circuit analytical method, the equivalent circuit of the mainhelium ventilator driving motor was established, and when the driving motor stabilityruns in different frequency, the parameters such as stator and rotor resistance, statorand rotor current,all kinds of loss, efficiency and power factor were calculated andanalyzed, according to the torque calculation, the curve of the motor mechanicalproperties was obtained, the purpose of effective analyzing main helium ventilatordriving motorin the load stable operating conditions was achieved. The frequency control system of the driving motor of helium cirulator wasanalyzed, and application of MATLAB/SIMULINK software, the speed of thedriving motor of helium circulatior was simulated and analyzed, when the motor ranfrom0Hz up to13Hz and13Hz to67Hz.The results obtained in this thesis can provide valuable reference for the actualoperation of the driving motor of main helium ventilator. The problems ofelectromagnetic design, which involves that the structure, parameters, ventilation andcooling performance, simulation, frequency conversion and control, temperature riseand mechanical strength were aided analysis and optimization design, will be helpfulbased on operation state and performance analysis of main helium ventilator drivingmotorat different frequencies.
