Aero-engine Knowledge Base Construction For The Fault Diagnosis Expert System

Aero-engine is the power plant of the modern weaponry which is a very complexmechanical system typically. It is a high speed rotating machinery, works under the highrotational speed, high load and high temperature environment which will lead to various faults.In order to prevent, reduce and troubleshooting thoroughly, moreover increase and improveaero-engine operating status and fault diagnosis technology. This paper researches on how todesign and implementation aero-engine fault diagnosis expert system knowledge base basedon fuzzy inference.At first, get aero-engine fault diagnosis expert knowledge, then organizes them usingfault tree. Classify the knowledge according to the forms in fault tree. Then represent faulttrees into rules knowledge representation and frame representation. Secondly, designknowledge base according to the knowledge representation, divide the interval value ofengine operating correctly and engine fault into different levels based on the parameter thataffects the fault. Different levels of parameters have different influence on the fault, so designthe fuzzy knowledge representation mode, then store the parameter level, credibility andweight, build a knowledge base. Thirdly, analysis the fuzzy knowledge representation mode,design fuzzy inference regulation, build the fuzzy relation matrix, ect, design fuzzy inferenceand carry on experiment. Design the eliminating strategies rules competition based on thefuzzy inference rule, achieve real-time update and online fault diagnosis. At last, design afault diagnosis knowledge base management system, to realize fault diagnosis informationgeneral management.
