With development of automation, Linear track vehicle has been widely applied in thefield of storage, mechanical processing and chemical. Linear track vehicle could run in thestate of automatic reciprocating motions as run-alignment-operation. The track vehiclehas large structure and big inertia, low accuracy positioning which would directly affectthe production efficiency.This article mainly deals with how to accurate positioning thetrack vehicle at specified position to enabled the automation control.This article take the essence to its dregs after analysis and comparing of availableloction technology internationally and domestically and design the loction system based onlaser ranging technology. This loction technology adopt controller of Siemens Corp.S7-200series, control the action of motor by the relay and laser rangefinder as the positionfeedback elements to form the closed loop control structure. Combined digital filter baseon sliding average method for and "run-stop-inching alignment" motor control method toachieve accurate positioning. Vehicle displacement reflect through the displacementdisplay that can help the operator to know where the track car is.This article briefly introduce structure and function of automatic operation system.System collect liquid level signal through analog extension module EM231, get the waterlevel value after calculation,which can control the movable screen cleaner to clean dirtsautomatically. It also use HMI Smart700touch screen configuration of monitoringsoftware WinCC flexible to monitor and modify the process parameters of equipmentoperating, so operator can can directly know the real-time running state of equipment, thensend the field data to DCS monitoring center through Modbus communication protocol.The loction technology in this article has been applied in Movable Trash Racked BarScreen project in Hengli petrochemical company in Dalian. In this article, the design of thetrack vehicle loction system based on laser ranging in the100m straight stroke, itspositioning accuracy of±2mm, according to field operation result and the stability canmeet the technological requirements. Positioning system connect laser range finding toPLC control system for improving the stability and intelligent. Get current accurateposition is the key of automatic control system, which can shorten the operating time and improve work efficiency. Abandon the speed control system can simplify the structure toenhances the performance-to-price ratio. When an external environment changes, controlsystem can adjust accordingly for accuracy positioning.
