Give priority to the driver’s vision in the total vehicle body layout and design process.Then determine the position of the various components of the vehicle body in the case ofvision requirements. The vehicle rear-view mirror is an important component ofAutomotive vision performance, for all the Performance indicators test of car rear-viewmirror are particularly important. In the country’s national mandatory standards GB15084-2006《Motor vehicles rear-view mirror Requirement of performance andinstallation》, there are many ways for the vision test of automotive rear-view mirror, butthe majority is only aimed at the establishment of the rear-view mirror in static, thelimitations is obviously. In order to get the intelligent detection of the vision of rear-viewmirror. In order to form an intelligent detection system, we should consider the variousperformance indicators of the rear-view mirror. In this paper, at a basis of a computersimulation algorithm of a static field of view in the rear-view mirror, we established adynamic process in the field of view of simulation model and its algorithm for detecting.Then we consider all the performance indicators all together. Finally, we get the vehiclerear-view mirror detection system. At the same time, the system provides the guide ofparameter for the automobile rear vision performance analysis.This paper is mainly as follows:In the first section, we describe the research background of this project, researchcontent, Make analysis and research on the automotive vision research at home and abroad,find out their similarities and differences. Summarize and conclude vision research toolsfor eyellipse point, eye point and so on. The tools are theoretical basis and necessary meansof automotive vision research.In the second section, introduce the location methods of the eyellipse point base onthe SAE and the performance indicators of vehicles rear-view mirror and the commonlyused detection methods. Obtain the rearview mirror’s design formulas based on that. Thispaper gets the relationship between the related attributes of rearview mirror and the Angleof installation through the study of rear-view mirror vision and related laws and regulations.Determine the location of the rearview mirror to meet requirements of regulatory andergonomics. For the detection of vision of the automobile rear-view mirror, we establisheda dynamic process in the field of view of simulation model and its algorithm for detecting.In the third section, we applied the dynamic vision detection system computersimulation in response to a mass production car’s rear-view mirror.
