The low ratio length to diameter shaped charge warhead has the characteristics that thelength-to-diameter ratio of the explosive charge is small、light weight. It can be widely used infront of tandem warhead and in the anti-armor mines warhead structure. In this paper, thewarhead is deeply studied. The reference data is necessary to provide the for the futureengineering application.The correlation energy theory is used to analyze the feasibility of large cone angle coverforms a shaped charge penetration body,and then low ratio length to diameter warhead isdesigned by reverse initiation mode combined with the domestic and foreign literature.Numerical simulation experiments are used to demonstrated the structure that is reasonable. Inthe matching structure under the condition of reasonable, low ratio length to diameter shapedwarhead can be ideal for us to use.At first, the article analyzes literatures of domestic and foreign about small ratio of lengthto diameter warhead. A new structure that is a large line formation of jet by the mode ofreverse initiation is proposed on these bases and the shaped charge penetration theory. Second,the reverse initiation network which is used in warhead is designed. The warhead structuremodel which is applied to compute is established. A lot of experiments are carried out by themethod of numerical simulation. Experiments show that the ideal penetrator can be obtainedin this structure. The different charge structure parameters are analyzed which influences thewarhead deeply. At the last, the mathematical method of orthogonal is used to the optimizeddesign of the battle of the parameters of the model. The ideal structure of warhead is obtained.The research results can provide reference for relevant engineering application.
