The post-project evaluation is the content of project management, is thelast program of the project construction, is the objective evaluation of thecompleted project, is the analysis of purpose, implementation, operation,effectiveness and impact of the project, is conducive to the construction offuture projects. Due to energy shortages and environmental pollution, windenergy as a renewable and clean energy has get a lot of attention. wind powerhas become the popular investment project of governments.GD wind power project started in2005, Begin to generate electricity from2006. GD wind power project is the first Wind power plants in J province.GDwind power project has67Wind turbines which’s capacity is1500kW andhub height is80m. GD wind power project is first megawatt wind power projectin China, is assessed as "China Electric Power quality Engineering Award" in2008by the China Electric Power Construction Association, is selected incentury classic construction project for the60th anniversary of the founding ofNew China in2009.The main content of this paper is the post-project evaluation of GD windpower project. Based on the in-depth research and the data collection of theproject, we analyze and evaluate the pre-project decision-making,implementation, operation, effects, benefits and continuity of the project.Based on the results, we summed up the experiences and lessons of theproject about decision-making, construction, operation, management andother aspects, put forward the proposal of the GD project operations and thefuture project construction. The post-project evaluation of GD wind powerproject has certain significance for the GD project operations and the futureproject construction.
