As China’s further reform and opening up, rural residential level is more andmore taken attention by the party central committee and state council. In order to meetand improve rural residential conditions, the structure of ecological composite wall isput forward. The structure of residential ecological composite wall have theadvantages of energy-saving, environmental protection, simple of thermal insulationconstruction process, low cost and good seismic performance. The residentialecological composite wall is composed of frame column, beam, frame beam, bottombeam and the filling block assembly cast-in-place. Based on the analysis of existingresearch results, the compressive properties under the vertical load, the seismicperformance under the horizontal load, the bearing capacity calculation of the normaland inclined section of wall, the construction measures of wall were studied anddiscussed. At the same time, the stress performance of wall under vertical load wasanalyzed by Ansys. The main contents show as follows:1.The two walls, which were consisted of the aerated concrete block and thestraw briquette block, were studied on the compressive properties. The failure processwas understanded. The failure characteristics, limit load, stable and the bearingcapacity of blocks for wall were analyzed. The results show that the failure mode oftwo walls are material damage. The walls’ characteristic of brittle failure are obvious.The walls have good compressive properties. The results of compression bearingcapacity of wall provide a basis for further theoretical analysis and design method.2.The seismic performance of two walls, which were filled with aerated concreteblock and the straw briquette block, was studied by the experiment. Simultaneously,they were analyzed with4multi-ribbed composite walls. The failure process wasunderstanded. The failure mode and characteristic, bearing capacity, ductility,deformation, stiffness degradation and energy dissipation were analyzed. The resultsshow that all the walls are shear failure except XML-3, which have good seismicperformance. The XML-3is flexural failure. The shear slip phenomenon of MLQT-4is obviously, so it is not considered in residential buildings. The results provide thebasis for the theoretical analysis and design method.3.The performance under vertical load of3walls of ribbed beams with block,ribbed beams without block and no ribbed beams without block was studied byqualitative analysis using Ansys. The analysis results were constrasted with the test ofMLQT-1. The research shows that the bearing capacity of MLQT-1is significantly less than the simulated wall’s because of the accidental eccentricity defect and loadingtest of wall in the production process of MLQT-1. It is also found that the ribbedbeams, block and frame are able to work together and play their own characteristics inthe loading process to improve the bearing capacity of the wall through thesimulation.4.The normal and inclined section calculation method of the bearing capacity ofthe ecological composite wall in Jilin Province residential was advanced with theconstruction measures.
