Due to the problems of resources and environment, the program of DeepEarth Exploration which is called “Telescope of Earth” is becoming more andmore urgent. Now Chinese Government sets up the program of Deep EarthExploration in China. And this thesis focuses on the research of detectionequipment. With the pace of entering the new century, the request ofautomation and intelligent is growing more and more important in the field ofequipment manufacturing. This paper mainly researches on hydraulicdrilling-pipe racking system, which is one of important equipments forautomatic drilling in the program of Deep Earth Exploration.This article main research content include the hydraulic system diagramdesign of drilling pipe racking system and hydraulic simulation in SoftwareAMESim. Now the main research results are summarized as follows:(1) Through analyzing the function and movement of drilling pipe rackingsystem, the structures of drilling pipe racking system is determined. Accordingto determined structures of drilling pipe racking system and their workingrequirements, the hydraulic system diagram is designed. Then according tothe load situation on drilling pipe racking system, calculate structure size,working pressure and flow rate of each hydraulic cylinder, torque anddisplacement of worm motor. Driving motor and hydraulic auxiliarycomponents such as tanks and the accumulator are preliminary selected. Atlast choose the electro-hydraulic proportional system as controlling project ofdrilling pipe racking system and compile the controlling program.(2) The six circuits of hydraulic system are simulated by software AMESim.According to the simulation results, the detail movements are known and the design above is verified. In addition, the working parameters of six hydrauliccircuits are gathered.(3) By the graduation practice, the manufacturing processes of drilling piperacking system are mastered, and the hydraulic system is debugged. From thedebugged results, verify that it is feasible for the hydraulic system design.To sum up, in this research the hydraulic system of drilling pipe rackingsystem is designed and simulated. And the simulation results provide strongsupport to set up digital modeling. This method provides a good idea for thedesign of the automatic drilling pipe racking system.
