The ancient architecture is the heritage of Chinese Civilization and so cannot be abandoned at will. As the matter of fact, the existing ancient architecture is fewer than what we think of and so we should take measures as follows:Firstly, some necessary measures should be taken to protect the existing architecture. Secondly, the architectures should be counterfeited as much as possible. Therefore, the imitating ancient architecture will be the trend of construction trade. However, as a kind of new architecture, the imitating is neither the real nor the modern. Actually, it is the only modern structure with ancient buildings’shape and so its force is not the same as the real ancient’s as well as the modern ancient’s.At present, many researchers have done much work on the dynamic test of the existing ancient architecture, including Maohong Yu, Puqian Cheng, Xuebing Zhang, Dongping Fang, Junhai Zhao and etc. Many scholars, from Italy, Turkey, France and America, have also dong much research on the ancient’s mechanics, these ancient architectures are the Leaning Tower Pisa and the Statue of Liberty and etc. From what we have been talking about above, the research on the ancient architecture has been a worldwide topic.’The Conference of Ancient Structure Research’has been held to research the ancient. As has been said, the culture of the ancient architecture has attracted the worldwide attention.However, much of the Chinese research on the ancient architecture has been staying on the wood structures, not on the concrete structures. So, the study on the ancient architecture with the concrete structures has been an urgent subject before us.Abaqus numerical simulation on the pavilion Fa Hua is done in the paper, including static analysis, modal analysis, transient dynamic analysis, harmonic response analysis, response spectrum analysis and time-procedure analysis of acceleration. Structure’s result data can be gained by static analysis, which are respectively displacement response and acceleration response and etc; Natural vibration’s characteristic can be obtained by the modal analysis; Structure’s stress response and displacement response under different dynamic loads can be obtained by transient dynamic analysis, harmonic response analysis, response spectrum analysis and time-procedure analysis of acceleration. Structure’s characteristic and static and dynamic response can be summarized by the realized data above, which can provide relative theory reference for future imitating ancient architecture or the fixing up of ancient architecture.
