The atomic Hydrogen clock is used on a large scale for very demanding applications as an important traditional atomic frequency standard. The automatic frequency stability test set of atomic Hydrogen clocks is a profession to measure frequency stability characterization of the Atomic Hydrogen clock. In this thesis, based on beat-frequency and multiple-period measurement technique, calculating and displaying the domain frequency stability parameters by collecting the average frequency during sample times of the output signal of the atomic Hydrogen clock is performed. The design proposal is raised by the combination of the test method of frequency stability and the signal-process models which is deduced from the mathematical models of characterization of frequency stability first in this paper. Based on the above, the principle and structure as well as function are further discussed, and the design specifications are also raised. Further more, the hardware part and the software part are expatiated in detail according to the structure of the system. In hardware part, key techniques are analyzed and discussed with the division of the circuit function, and with the process of the project, and with the combination of the specific circuit form and with the help of different design tools and the realization of the circuit is also given. In software part, based on the demands of the software, the frame and the flow of automatic test and data processing including its algorithm are analyzed with Object Modeling Technique method in detail. In the end, realizations of the system and the data on the results are given and the prospects of the further work are made. The final testing results show that the system can be competent for the high-precision and automatic measurement of frequency stability of Atomic Hydrogen clocks with good practical value.
