On Desigh Of Comprehensive Park Based On The Older Behavioral Psychology

With the development of society, life span has been considerably extended, an aging population has became an important international social problem. After having sufficient material supply, the Chinese people begin to treasure the taste of life and pursue spiritual consumption.After old people step aside, life is meaningless without work, they sink inevitably in a state of spiritual emptiness, even endanger their health so that they unable to enjoy the later life. As everyone knows, city garden is the oasis in the city, providing a good communication and entertainment places for the old people, and they have became the vast majority of users.However, comprehensive park for old people is lack in our country, even the zones are still imperfections, such as improper layout, lack of facilities, environmental color and plant setting are not reasonable. Therefore, it’s important to create the modern City Garden for the older to promote they physical and mental health.In this research, the author uses multidisciplinary research methods, including the field investigation of Hunan Martyrs Park. The article discusses some problems of city garden design for the aged in Changsha based on biogerontology, physiology, psychology, human engineering and landscape planning. The author analyses the park facilities and color with the transverse contact method. From the two aspects of the elderly physiological characteristics and behavior psychological characteristic, it elaborates the activity space design of the main requirements, and the questions which should be paid attention to among the design elements.Fristly,designing the garden space for the elderly should be follow the principle of the functional diversity, safety, health, striking and cultural.Second,selecting the health plants which are suit for the comprehensive parks for the aged people from the smell,visus,hearing,thigmesthesia and physical therapy.Thirdly,focusing on the design of facilities in the park for the aged people,such as roads, barrier-free access, identification, toilet, seats, steps, greening and so on.At last,According to the single color and color pollution problem of Changsha comprehensive park,the paper explores the psychological impact of colors on Landscape color, and proposes the use of color suitable for the elderly garden.The paper offers facilities improvement suggestion of the Hunan martyr park aiming at the above four research, and to make a positive contribution to the group of elderly people to spend their remaining years in Changsha City.
