This paper mainly discusses the technique of whole product parametric modelingon Astromesh deployable antenna.Firstly, On the basis of the designing theory of parametric modeling, the idea ofparametric modeling on the whole model is proposed and the whole design frame isdeveloped. The design frame is detailedly discussed from the aspects of hiberarchy,project abstracting and classifying, data transfer, etc. And the share database ofdeployable antenna is establishedSecondly, the height of Astromesh deployable antenna, the Astromesh ofdeployable and undeployable condition, the model of the gear on the synchronousjoints, and the connection rule between the reflector surface and the mesh is designedand calculated. Aiming at parametric modeling, the numbering rule of the nodes on thereflector and the Astromesh is regulated.On the basis of second development function of the I-DEAS software, the projectof Astromesh deployable antenna is abstracted and classified. The truss, Astromesh,and reflector is parametrically designed. And the parts and subassembly is assembledby the use of parametric assembly technique.The parametric modeling software of spaceborne large deployable antennas isdeveloped using software developing tool C++Builder,which can be applied to thedevelopment of Astromesh deployable antenna.
