With the fast development of spacecraft test technology, in order to adapt to newstrategic and tactic needs. spacecraft test system is required not only to be moreefficient and have higher traffic. but also to be able to operate reliably under hostileenvironment, to be able to conduct overall test in the complex outside environment. tobe able to quickly detect and find problem of units that comprise a system by its ownmighty signal source system and receiving system.The miniaturization multifunction test system is analyzed comprehensively frommechanical, thermal, and electrical aspects. considering the equipment’s reliability.portability and multifunction. The decode process of high speed asynchronous serialPCM code is analyzed, and a high efficient HDLC encode-decode method based onFPGA is presented. Based on reliability theory. high speed PCM decode theory andHDLC encode-decode theory. an overall system design is carried out. And afunctional hardware platform is developed. An overall reliability analysis is performedon this platform and the final result is obtained. Also the high PCM encode-decodefunction and the multi bit rate. interval and format length configurable high efficientHDLC encode-decode function are implemented on this platform. The computersoftware has the ability of displaying and storaging the decoded PCM data anddecoded HDLC data and testing the rate of error data and validating the correctnessand the validity of the received decoded data.Making use of the testing-instruments and the computer software testsmall multi-function testing system’s source of PCM data. receiving the unitof PCM data. source of HDLC and receiving the unit of HDLC.The final test resultdemonstrates that all technical specifications meet the expected design goals. This testsystem has been used on one new spacecraft test and completed its mission perfectly.
