Research On Target Location Method By Real-time Pictures And It’s Application

The precision-guided weapons tests of the PLA have a rapid development，then，Miss Distance measure shall be faster and more accurate.The title aims at this demand. It is analyzed such as the theories， test data andfeatures of the tests in a missile target area， and it is programmed that a software tocompute Miss Distance bases on pictures of precision-guided weapons target scene. Thesoftware and the equipments for video transformation compose a system. In the targetarea, it is set common cameras to keep watch on the target, and calculates the MissDistance by the video information. By the system, the Miss Distance can be locatedcorrectly and used to direct working party work in danger zone.The production--Target Location by Real-time Pictures solves the problem oftarget location in atrocious weather， provides more security for missile tests targetarea， and can be applied well widely in missile tests target area.
