| Development of metro construction has carried out very well in China in recent years. Passenger information system (PIS) provides operation information to passengers, and it is an important part of the metro. For the particularity of the metro environment, operating environment and functions of PIS video controller devices is more complex than video controller equipment of commercial digital signage system. Therefore, we must design hardware and software to meet the metro working environment, and ensure devices works safety and stable in the metro environment.For hardware, this paper analysis the ease of installation and remote maintainability for video controller devices based on Intel AMT remote management technology solutions and LCD display configuration parameters solutions. And for these two programs, we carried out design and implementation.For software, this paper analysis four core issues:multi-level network time synchronization, multi-screen synchronous playback, hardware acceleration for rendering, and hardware-accelerated live video stream decodeing. For the propose of time synchronization, we proposed a solution of queue with frequency hopping synchronization algorithm, we solve the problem of multi-client time synchronization.For the propose of multi-devices playback synchronization, we proposed method of positioning frame and adjustment of the time of the baseline, to adjust the progress of the playback step. For HD broadcast and HD video decoding we proposed using the GPU in video rendering and video decoding, Solve the problem of insufficient CPU processing power in traditional method, and get the good result. We made the design and implementation with software solutions for the four core issues.The implementation and algorithm have been verified in actual metro environment, and get achieved the desired results. |
