In the field of composite energetic materials burning rate test which is of greathelpful for the developing and improvement of the composite energetic materialsformula, the common methods in our country are static method which is under thecondition of constant pressure(temperature). Static method can not measure transientburning rate. For the shortage of static methods, this is a study about compositeenergetic materials transient burning rate test.Ultrasonic NDT technology is applied to composite energetic materials burningrate test here. And the theory and concrete implementation scheme of the technologyare also introduced. The ultrasonic propagation characteristic of composite energeticmaterials, the testing principle and the detecting method are discussed in this paper.The composition of the system, sensor-calibration, the peak detecting, the burning ratecalculation method.etc are introduced in the content. Ultrasonic transmit-receivecircuit, high speed data acquisition board and part of the software have beenaccomplished now. Some experimental data have been acquired finally. Theachievement above makes the establishment for the subsequent work. |
