Energy dissipation damping technology was used in the structure to achieve the p(?) of protecting the main structure when the earthquake happens. By the additional energy consumption support is an effective way to improve the seismic performance, however, the damping effect is different because of the different brace, while the toggle energy dissipation brace with viscous dampers can obtain better damping effect when the structural deformation is smaller.According to the basic principles of viscous dampers, this article introduces the methods of designing its parameters; in the right of toggle-brace working performance, deduces the magnification factor formula; and then introduces another form of toggle-brace which the brace connected to the beam-column joints, also deduces the magnification factor formula and analyze the method of designing of this form; finally, present the equivalent damping ratio provided by toggle energy dissipation brace with viscous dampers. The finite element analysis software SAP2000is used to analyze the time-history analysis and mode analysis of different forms of energy dissipation with viscous dampers under horizontal earthquake action. According to calculations, contrast the seismic responses such as the displacement ratios, the acceleration, base shear, energy time-history analysis. Thus, comparing the seismic performance of concrete filled steel tubular structure with different energy dissipations.
