In recent years,earthquake occurrences frequently and caused tremendous damage of human living environment due to its unpredictability,therefore,the importance of seismic in the structure has become increasingly prominent.Traditional seismic method is to increase the cross-sectional dimensions of the frame structure,but it has the disadvantage of poor self-regulation,difficult to repair,not economic,etc.It has been widely researched about energy dissipation supporting structure Currently,but it is rarely reported about the comparative of damping effect of different forms of support with dampers.the main work of this paper are as follows:(1)By using series connection of damper and different supporting form formed energy dissipation supporting system,which including diagonal brace,chevron bracing structures,eccentric brace,knee brace-frame and toggle-brace,and elaborated its energy mechanism.(2)Take viscous dampers for example,we introduced the design theory of energy dissipation supporting structure.(3)Theory model of different supporting structure systems with viscous dampers are set up,and take a six-story space steel frame for example made comparatives of different systems' damping effect based on Midas gen.Through parametric analysis of seismic response including story drift,floor shear and acceleration of the top floor,the paper included toggle-brace has the best aseismic effect,as the same time,we supplementary verificated.the above conclusion based on hysteresis curve of dampers,additional damping of the structure,history curves of energy of frames.(4)Proposed a new toggle energy dissipation brace structures and compared with the traditional toggle energy-dissipation-brace structures,calculated that the new toggle energy dissipation brace structures has a good effect in large earthquake,and protected the beam-column joints effectively.(5)A better design of the new toggle-brace system was carried on concluded the following three conclusion:Firstly: in a certain range,the bigger magnification the better seismic performance.Secondly: in a certain range,the additional brace's sectional dimension changing will affect the seismic response of structures;Thirdly: in a certain range,the additional support's positions changing will affect the seismic response of structures;...
